Federico and Hosanna were Australia's tango champions. In August 2007, they travelled to Buenos Aires to compete, for the title of Tango World Champion. When they arrive in Buenos Aires, all their preconceived ideas about tango are challenged... tango is not just about learning a choreography, it is inextricably linked to a far deeper culture.

Having not long before, retired from the rarefied world of performing for Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House, Carla Thackrah decided to explore the street-wise and melancholy culture of tango music in Buenos Aires. She travelled with her husband, the eclectic and brilliant violinist Moshlo, to Argentina and filmed their adventures and misadventures in this exciting and chaotic city. Spanning two years and two visits, this film offers a captivating insight into the passion and decaying grandeur of this great city and it’s love affair with the music and dance of tango.
TALES OF LOVE

In January, 2002, musicians from the Seymour Group and singers and crew from Richard Vella's Calculated Risk Opera Company gathered to create his show "Tales of Love". This unfinished documentary tells some of their personal 'tales of love', gathered during the rehearsal period.
